Our Story

In 1985, a young mother of three embarked on a mission to make a difference in the lives of second graders. Over the next three decades, Debbie Berger excelled in various roles as an educator, inventor, author, and entrepreneur. From implementing innovative phonics and reading programs to creating patented handwriting-assisted devices, designing educational games, and authoring children’s books, Debbie positively impacted hundreds of students and families through her work.

Thirteen years prior, amidst chilly December weather and the excitement of a promising career, a recent college graduate entered the security clearance at Lexington Army Depot. Today, after more than 40 years, Jim Berger has cultivated an extinguished career spanning government civil service, Department of Defense, aerospace, automotive, medical sectors, and secret security clearance for inspecting United States Air Force surveillance and fighter aircraft.  Jim holds certifications from the American Society for Quality as a Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.

Driven by their shared passion for empowering others and extensive experience in manufacturing processes, Debbie and Jim founded Leading Tech Staffing. With over 60 years of combined expertise in education and organizational programs, Leading Tech Staffing is dedicated to enhancing lives, building teams, and strengthening communities.
